The interior design project works with simple forms and carefully considered color combinations. In the main classrooms, a more vibrant floor is paired with furniture in calmer tones. In contrast, the after-school areas feature a neutral grey floor that allows the colorful furnishings to stand out. Similarly, the light-colored corridor floors are complemented by brightly colored doors.
Blue and green tiles were selected for the children’s restrooms. The classrooms are equipped with standard blackboards that also allow for the future integration of modern teaching technologies. An important component of the project is a clear and intuitive wayfinding and information system.
All interior elements were developed in close consultation with the school’s management to ensure that the design responds to their experience and meets everyday operational requirements.
