Dhaba Beas Restaurant in Dejvice
The new vegetarian restaurant was designed to preserve the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the previous Calma Café while introducing more vibrant and stylish details into the interior. The goal was to build upon the established character of the space, yet develop a more sophisticated and visually engaging aesthetic. The large street-facing windows were retained, maintaining a strong connection with the surroundings. However, the color palette was refreshed with tones that bring modern energy to the interior. Overall, the design strikes a balance between the familiar comfort of the former café and a more refined, design-forward sensibility suited to the vegetarian Dhaba Beas concept. The result is a pleasant space that feels both nostalgic and fresh, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to honoring tradition while embracing a contemporary perspective.
